The John Hunter Children’s Hospital Oncology Day Unit was the first of a series of projects that EJE were engaged for by Hunter New England Health Network, centred particularly around the John Hunter Children’s Hospital. Existing space was fully refurbished with the inclusion of new medical services to provide day services for paediatric oncology patients.
The new facility includes six chemotherapy treatment spaces, a series of consult and procedure rooms, and staff and support facilities.
