Christ Church Cathedral

EJE Heritage designed, documented and contract administered the restoration of the Cathederal, one of Australia’s most significant ecclesiastical buildings, after it was severely damaged in the 1989 earthquake.

In 2011, EJE designed, documented and contract administered the repair of the Wast Wall and Rose Window. The following year, it did the same for the repair of the ceiling above the Crossing, together with the waterproofing of the Tower. EJE has also supported applications for funding for the Cathederal from the Heritage Branch of the NSW Office of Environment and Heritage.
