Located within an established residential urban environment in close proximity to the commercial retail hub of Warners Bay, EJE were engaged to masterplan, design and document a development which provides retirement living with a semi rural atmosphere reflecting the historical context of the area.
The village consists of 101 dwellings across a mix of conventional single storey detached and semi detached villas and apartment living. All villas and apartments have been designed to provide open plan living areas, relating directly to northern orientated covered outdoor spaces, maximising passive solar design principles. The development was so successful Eleebana Shores Retirement Living has recently acquired the adjoining site and stage 2 of the development is now under construction providing a further 15 villas and 24 apartments to the existing development.
